Our Legacy
A History of Faith
Our roots trace back to 1856 with the founding of Faribault’s first Catholic church, St. Ann’s. After a devastating fire, the community's resilience gave rise to Immaculate Conception, soon followed by St. Lawrence and Sacred Heart.
Over the decades, as our congregations grew and schools flourished, these distinct parishes united to form the vibrant community we know today: Divine Mercy Catholic Church and School. This year’s Spirit Fest mini-parade is a joyful tribute to that legacy and the many ministries that sustain us. We invite your family to march with us, honoring our past and celebrating our shared future!

The Historic Parade
A historic march honoring 170 years of our parish. Kids are encouraged to dress as their favorite saint or in historical outfits!
A Legacy Cemented
Witness the official dedication of the new Fr. Finnegan Commons and the halls named in honor of the bishops who have served our parish.
All-Day Attractions
